Economics Lecture Notes

Economics Cafe provides economics lecture notes developed by the principal economics tutor, Mr Edmund Quek. These lecture notes have not only benefited students taking economics tuition at the centre, but they have also benefited many other economics tutors, teachers and students. In 2013, Mr Edmund Quek was approached by MediaCorp for an interview to share his view on Economics Lecture Notes. The lecture notes have been designed in a way that focuses on the salient economic concepts which students need to master to excel in the Singapore-Cambridge ‘A’ economics examination. Therefore, the less important concepts have deliberately been left out. The rationale for this design of the lecture notes is to prevent information overload and hence enables students to distinguish between the more concepts and the less important ones.
